The small and large Čremošnianske lazy are among the area's distinctive landscape features. They lie below and above the village as grassy ridges. The Čremošnianske lazy offer beautiful views in all directions. A hike to the Čremošnianske lazy can begin in Čremošné; the trail leads across meadows and is not difficult. This allows you to experience the landscape along a manageable route without changing your starting point from the village.

The area around Čremošné contains beech and spruce forests. The forests complement the open, grassy ridges of the Čremošnianske lazy. The protected nature of the Veľká Fatra has been designated a national park since 2002. For orientation by bicycle, the yellow-marked cycling route 8422 provides a specific connection: it leads from Háj through Čremošné and the Žarnovická dolina to Kostolec.

Čremošné can be reached by car from Turčianske Teplice via Háj. The nearest rail connection is in Turčianske Teplice. A railway line towards Banská Bystrica also runs beneath Čremošné.

Railway History and Local Heritage

The Čremošniansky Tunnel is a railway tunnel located in the cadastral territories of Čremošné, Mošovce, and Dolný Harmanec. It is designated a national cultural monument. The railway line beneath Čremošné passes through 22 tunnels, including the 4,697 m long Čremošniansky Tunnel. The tunnel is therefore both part of the region's railway history and associated with a precisely specified technical dimension.

Čremošné also has preserved examples of folk architecture. The Žarnovická dolina commemorates the last meeting of the illegal SNR and the leadership of the illegal military centre on 27 July 1944, before the Slovak National Uprising. Local traditions include Fašiangové celebrations and May Day festivities, which are organised by the local volunteer fire brigade several times a year.
