Topoľčianky Castle is a national cultural monument. From 1923 to 1951, it served as the summer residence of the presidents of Czechoslovakia. Topoľčianky Park complements this cultural focus with a protected landscape. It features a species-rich dendrological collection and extends for a length of two and a half kilometres along the Leveš stream. It runs from the town centre beyond the edge of the town. The park is publicly accessible in all areas. Motor vehicles are prohibited there, with the exception of vehicles operated by the park administration; the park is partially accessible to cyclists. Château Topoľčianky offers a perspective of its own. Visitors and tourists who happen to pass by are offered a half-hour short presentation of the winery. Accompanied by a member of the winery staff, they gain insights into the cellars and the archive. The presentation includes two to three wine tastings as well as information about the company and its wine production. The visit thus combines a brief introduction to the business with a specific insight into the cellar and archive.

Bison Observation in the Wider Regional Surroundings

The Zubria zvernica bison reserve is located in the wider regional surroundings of Topoľčianky. It has an observation platform for watching European bison and a two-kilometre educational trail. The reserve was established in 1958 to protect the European bison from extinction. The combination of an observation platform, educational trail and historic conservation mission makes this place a distinct nature and educational destination that extends beyond the sights in the town centre.

Slovak Specialties at a Past Festival

On 16 September 2023 at 2:00 p.m., the folklore festival and grape harvest or wine harvest celebration “Folklórne slávnosti a Vinobranie” took place in the centre of Topoľčianky. The event featured stalls selling traditional Slovak specialties as well as folk and artistic products.
