During the 2026 summer season, the church is open to the public daily from 10:00 to 16:00, except Mondays, from 1 May to 30 September. Outside this season, visits are possible by appointment arranged at least one day in advance. The Tvrdošín heritage zone includes Trinity Square and the adjoining historic urban fabric with the Gothic wooden church. The historic centre was declared a heritage zone on 1 June 1991. The town hall was built between 1872 and 1875 on older foundations from the 18th century and is regarded as a particularly well-preserved monument from the second half of the 19th century.

Along the Tvrdošín regulating reservoir, you can continue riding or reach the centre of Tvrdošín via a bench crossing the Orava. Events and Local Impressions

The town of Tvrdošín organises the Folklore Festival under Osobita every year. In 2026, the 35th edition took place in the natural amphitheatre of Oravice.
