Podkylava: Cycling Routes, Agritourism and Local History

Cycling routes between viewpoints and longer distances

A completed educational trail leads from the road behind the cemetery to the Pávičie viewpoint and runs parallel to the local cycling route. The yellow-marked MC01 cycling route also refers to the Pávičie viewpoint and is approximately 600 metres long. This means that a very short route exists alongside longer connections, without confusing the lengths of the routes with one another.

The green-marked C5325 cycling route runs between Podkylava, Polianka and Sládkovci and is 7.8 kilometres long. The blue-marked C2302 cycling route leads from Plavecký Peter via Jablonica to Hrachovište and is 45 kilometres long in total. The cultural calendar also includes a Fašiangový carnival and a Fašiangové posedenie in February. The Podkylavské zeleninové slávnosti follow in October. These dates represent different cultural points of connection, while the preserved houses and the history of lace-making make the historical framework of the locality visible.
