In the 2010-2011 ski season Slovakia has prepared a pleasant surprise for tourists who intend to spend their winter holidays at ski resorts of the country. Starting from October 15, 2010 in Slovakia has begun selling of single lift passes that give access to tracks of the leading ski resorts in Slovakia.

Slovakia Super Skipas – that is the name of the subscription, which gives the opportunity to ski in Slovakia on the slopes of such famous resorts as Jasna in the Low Tatras, Strbske Pleso in High Tatras, as well as ski resorts of Donovaly, Velka Raca and Tatranska Lomnica.

Slovakia Super Skipas is an improved version of the ski pass Slovakia Ski Region, which was presented at the resorts of the country for the first time in 2006-2007 season. Then for those who wanted a ski pass Slovakia Ski Region it was available for 15 days. Today, Slovakia Super Skipas offers more flexibility for the travelers.

Thus, Slovakia Super Skipas is now available in three formats: for 10 days, 15 days and for the whole season. Moreover, ski passes for 10 and 15 days can be used throughout the season, not tied to specific dates.

The cost of ski passes depends on the date of purchase. So, buying of a ski pass until 23 December 2010 will be much cheaper. Detailed prices for ski passes can be found on www.parksnow.sk

Ski passes to ski resorts in Slovakia from October 15, 2010 can be purchased online. Its sale is available on the portals skipass.jasna.sk, ticketportal.sk and eventim.sk. Since November ski passes can also be purchased directly at the resorts Jasna, Strbske Pleso Donovaly, Velka Raca and Tatranska Lomnica.
