Church, Calvary and memorial sites

The Church of St. John the Baptist was built between 1816 and 1820 and consecrated in 1820. It is a single-nave building with a polygonal presbytery, that is, a chancel closed on several sides, an attached sacristy and an integrated tower. The church has an organ dating from 1824, made by Matej Vonberger. The site therefore combines not only a building, but also a specifically dated instrument.

The Calvary complex in Tešedíkovo was built between 1869 and 1876. Golgotha–Calvary stands at the end of the Stations of the Cross in front of the chapel. Another historical point of reference is the monument to the Battle of Tešedíkovo: The obelisk was erected in 1869 by the Home Guard Association of Pressburg County in memory of fallen Home Guard members and stands next to the cemetery.

A monument to the victims of the First World War on the main square commemorates those who fell; it stands in a well-maintained landscaped area. The former Jewish cemetery is also significant to local remembrance culture. Some of its 19th- and 20th-century gravestones have been installed in a park at the former cemetery site. Every year on 15 March, regional celebrations are held to commemorate the beginning of the 1848–1849 revolution and war of independence in Hungary.

Lakes and specific experiences

Lake Čierne is one of two state-protected lakes in the cadastral area of Tešedíkovo. Lake Téglások lies on the northern edge of the cadastral area. Carp fishing with a float, boilies or a feeder is possible there. Lake Téglások is also presented as a place for pleasant walks. The two lakes therefore appeal to different visitor interests: At Téglások, both a specific type of fishing and walks are described, while Lake Čierne is characterized by its status as a state-protected lake.

Specific bus and rail details are documented for arriving in the area. Public bus services include the Šaľa–Neded–Kolárovo and Šaľa–Trstice routes. The Šaľa–Neded railway line also runs through the cadastral area of Tešedíkovo; there is a railway station there.
