Slovakia is famous for its castles throughout Eastern Europe. The abundance of these historic sites caused opening of numerous museums throughout the country and creating an entirely new type of holiday in Slovakia. Hotels in castles - tours of the Slovak castles have recently given the opportunity to the guests of the country to feel not like just bystanders, but to see ancient history from the inside. Such an opportunity is given by the “Historic Hotels of Slovakia” association, which in mid-September celebrates its first anniversary.
