The contestants in the Miss Slovakia 2010 pageant are drawing inspiration from the Slovak national team’s first-ever appearance at a FIFA World Cup: the candidates posed for a photo shoot in football kits.

The 15 contestants in the Miss Slovakia 2010 pageant were photographed on the pitch in football kits by the Slovak newspaper “cas,” and the results show that the beauty contestants are every bit as world-class as the players on the Slovak national team.

Although winning the World Cup is surely more of a pipe dream for Slovakia, the team nevertheless has a very good chance of making it through the group stage and reaching the round of 16 at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
