Ski Slovakia: renovated hotel in Jasna
(Tourism in Slovakia)During the current winter season one of the largest ski resorts in Slovakia Jasna received a fully modernized hotel. Družba Hotel was opened after the extensive renovation and is ready to again receive the guests.
The Ski & Wellness Hotel Residence Družba is located in the northern resort of Jasna on the Biela Putt slope. Currently the hotel is considered to be the largest spa center of the resort, which includes a 25-meter swimming pool, water slides, sauna, children's playground and a number of body and soul treatment services.
The Ski & Wellness Hotel Residence Družba can rightly be considered the center of the resort life in Jasná. It offers 138 rooms, two restaurants, a nightclub, cabaret, rental of ski equipment, ski instructor services, as well as a spacious conference hall for 400 people.
Jasna ski resort is situated in the Low Tatras region. It is a part of a single ski pass region Slovakia Super Skipass, which now allows attending several well-known ski resorts in Slovakia. In addition to Jasna ski pass also allows to enjoy the slopes of such resorts as Strbske Pleso, Donovaly and Tatranska Lomnica.
Jasna today is a popular family holiday region and also a favorite place of adventurers. Over the past few years Jasna has become a notable place on the free-ride world map after the Freeride World Tour Series.
Tatra Mountains in Slovakia are one of the most popular ski resorts of Eastern Europe. Due to the combination of natural and architectural attractions, the potential for active recreation and treatment Tatras Mountains annually attract thousands of tourists from the CIS countries, especially from Ukraine, as well as from neighboring Hungary and Poland.

Slovak company reported about its intention in November 2011. At the present time representatives of Tatra Mountains Resort are negotiating with the municipal authorities of the Polish resorts of Krynica Zdrój, Zavoja, and Kasprowy Wierzch and Gubalówka resorts near Zakopane.

Hotels in Slovakia: NH Hoteles came to Bratislava
Slovakian hotel market is ready to meet another major player. It is a well-known Spanish hotel chain NH Hoteles. In early 2012 the company announced opening of its hotel in the capital, Bratislava. On January 2, 2012 NH Hoteles presented its 4-star NH Gate One – the first hotel of the network in Slovakia.
