In Bratislava will be launched a new cruise tour on the Danube

Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, this season will present a new attraction for his guests. It will be a river cruise tour on the Danube. The tour will begin in the historic center of Bratislava, will reach the picturesque suburb of Cunovo and come back.

As it is expected the cruise to the sights of Bratislava will depart every Saturday and Sunday. Sightseeing ship can take on its board up to 120 people. Tickets for adults will cost EUR 8, Children and Students - 4 euros. Cruise will depart from the center of Bratislava at 14.00 and arrive back at 17.45.

The main objective of the cruise promises to be an exhibition-museum "Danubiana" in Cunovo, which is built on an artificial spit on the Danube. Visiting of the museum will be a part of the tour, during which participants of the cruise will learn about the exhibits of the museum representing the modern Slovak art.

Realizing of the idea of such a cruise has become possible thanks to the cooperation of the regional administration of Bratislava, Slovak ports control service on the Danube and the administration of the museum "Danubiana".

In addition to the museum, Cunovo suburb is also known as one of the most modern centers for water sports in Slovakia. Water sport center in Cunovo is famous, in particular, due to its artificial track for such extreme sports as rafting, canoeing, kayaking, water slalom and others.

Today in Bratislava there are several tours, which include a cruise on the Danube. Maybe, the most famous guided tour in Bratislava is a tour of the Old Town, a steamboat cruise on the Danube, which is combined with a visit to one of the main attractions of Bratislava - Devin Castle.
